SPECTRABLEND™: A pre-hydrated polymer film coating system designed for
preparation prior to use. Spectrablend™ is available as:

SPECTRAFILM™: A tablet coating system combining pigment and polymer.
SPECTRACOAT: A color-controlled, liquid formulation for the following
applications:
Coatings
Aqueous: A dispersion of color pigments in water for use in aqueous film coating using HPMC; 5% of alcohol is included as a stabilizer.
Spectraspray: A dispersion of color pigments in water for use in totally aqueous film coating using acrylic resins, aqueous shellac and HPMC.
Sugar: A dispersion of color pigments in sucrose syrup for the fast coloring of sugar coated tablets.
Seals and Polishes
Clear: Formulations for sealing cores prior to sugar coating; can also be used as a pre-print base and for sealing moisture-sensitive cores before aqueous film coating.
Cream: A suspension of beeswax and carnauba wax with shellac for polishing tablets.
Aqueous Shellac: A solution of de-waxed and decolorized shellac.
Miscellaneous
Custom: A dispersion of permitted colors in any approved liquid medium that is compatible with the end product; miscellaneous applications.
Printing
Inks: A range of offset-gravure inks for printing sugar- and film-coated tablets as well as hard and soft gelatin capsules.
SPECTRACOL: A range of natural and synthetic colors, certified as being of pharmaceutical quality.
SPECTRAPURE: A range of excipients selected for their purity and performance in pharmaceutical applications, provided with a full certificate of analysis.
Natural extracts: Natural extracts and nutraceuticals designed for use in nutritional and nutraceutical products.
Shellac: A range of shellac in solid and liquid form.
Spectracel™: A range of low viscosity HPMC for film coating and other uses.
